After my baptism, I had a strong desire to share the gospel. As I was pondering as to whom, I happened to see a high school friend at my university. When I ran into him, I decided that I will shared the gospel with him. We had lunch together and I invited him over to my place. I have been a member for only a month, but we studied the gospel principle book together all night through and I shared my testimony with him. The morning came and my friend expressed his desire to get baptized. He was soon introduced to missionaries and I was privileged to perform the baptism.
Looking back, I can hardly believe that a member who has been a member for just over a month did actually play such a vital role in someone’s conversion. After the baptism, the friend served as a missionary sharing the gospel to many.
I know that it was a small step for me, but the difference made in the lives of my friend and those he affected is great.
